Google OAuth & Calendar API
We offer optional Google Calendar synchronization to create and manage calendar events for your bookings. When you connect your Google account, we request the following scopes:
openid— used to identify your Google account and establish a secure sign-in.email— used to access your Google account email address.profile— used to access basic profile information (e.g., name and profile picture).https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar— used to list calendars and create/update/delete booking-related events in your selected calendar(s). We do not read your emails or access other Google services.
We store OAuth tokens securely to perform calendar operations on your behalf. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from within the application settings. We only access the minimum data needed to provide the calendar sync feature and never sell your data to third parties.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell Google user data. We share or disclose Google user data only in the following cases:
- With Google (as required to use Google OAuth and Google Calendar APIs to provide the calendar synchronization feature).
- With service providers that process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, email delivery, and security providers) only to the extent necessary to operate and support the application.
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
Security & Data Protection
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including Google OAuth tokens and calendar synchronization data. These measures may include:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for data transmitted between your device and our servers.
- Access controls and least-privilege practices to limit access to sensitive data.
- Secure handling and storage of OAuth tokens used only to perform calendar operations you enable.
- Data minimization and retention practices aligned to providing the service and legal requirements.
Digitale Tempos' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoke Google Access
- In-app: disconnect your Google Calendar account from Settings.
- Google Account: you can also revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Information We Collect
- Contact details (name, email) provided during booking
- Appointment details (service, date/time, location)
- Technical and usage data (logs, device/browser info) where applicable
How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your bookings
- To send booking confirmations and notifications
- To improve our services and ensure platform security
Legal Basis
We process your data based on your consent, contractual necessity (to provide the booking service), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and in accordance with legal requirements.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable laws, you may have the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and personal data within the application. If your data was synchronized to Google Calendar, deleting your account or disconnecting calendar sync will stop further access; you may remove previously created events from your Google Calendar at any time.
